The unfortunate truth about our politics is that dehumanizing members of the opposing party has become standard fair in our political discourse. Few events ever break us of this destructive habit. But occasionally, life shakes us, forcing us to awaken and see each other, as real human beings. This week it was reported that Marco Rubio's mother has suffered a dangerous series of strokes. Whether we are Republicans, Democrats, or Independents; some pains transcend our silly divisions. The entire Spectrum Family offers our prayers and best wishes to the entire Rubio Family; To Mr. Rubio's mother especially and Mr. Rubio himself. May God Bless Them, and Keep Them.
